My Journey
Hi there! I am Sam, and I'm the proud owner of Pretty Little Scents and Crafts. My love for art and crafts has been a passion of mine since early childhood. After gaining my higher art qualification at high school, I went on to study spatial design at art college.
Throughout motherhood (bringing up 3 wonderful children), I created and crafted many different items from loving pebble art, decorating eggs, painting, card making, and had my first business in making handcrafted wedding stationery.
In early April 2020, it was in our first UK lockdown that I started to make wax melts due to the ever-growing demand and love of home fragrance. My products are all individually hand-poured in our studio within the shop and created with top-quality ingredients, which are cruelty free, vegan friendly, natural and emit no harmful pollutants or chemicals.
Sustainability Commitment
Our packaging is also all eco-friendly, being either recycled, recyclable, biodegradable, or reusable. I now make reed diffusers and luxury wax melts of all kinds and even car diffusers, carpet fresheners, hoover discs, room mists, and much more!
Expanding My Craft
Throughout the two years of 2021-2022, I attended college studying jewellery making, where I went on to win Best First Year and Best Overall in the annual Gemset competition. In my second year, I won an internship with a well-known jeweller in England.
